Psychologist Questions Validation Of Scouts Abuse Claims
A child developmental psychologist testified Tuesday in the Chapter 11 confirmation trial of the Boy Scouts of America that the procedures in place to validate more than 82,000 claims against the organization alleging childhood sexual abuse were inadequate to assess whether the claims are reliable or fraudulent.

Scouts Adviser Says Insurers Required Releases In Ch. 11
A restructuring adviser retained by the Boy Scouts of America testified Monday in Delaware bankruptcy court that the four insurance companies contributing to a $2.7 billion sex abuse claim settlement fund would only have done so with releases in the Boy Scouts' Chapter 11 plan that fully resolve the insurers' liabilities.
